Capstone Partners Adds Two New Directors with Deep Transaction Advisory Expertise to Financial Advisory Services Team

Boston, MA – Capstone Partners is pleased to announce the addition of two senior professionals to the firm’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) team: Alex Alekseev and Adrian Urgena.

Mr. Alekseev and Mr. Urgena will add their expertise to the FAS team focused on helping clients preserve and accelerate value, particularly in the context of a transaction.

Mr. Alekseev has more than 20 years of experience providing clients in the U.S. and abroad with performance improvement, integration and separation advisory, and expanded diligence services. Prior to joining Capstone, he led Applied BI, a performance improvement consultancy that he founded, and has previously worked for Grant Thornton, KPMG, and PwC. He joins the firm’s growing team in the Chicago market.

Mr. Urgena has more than 20 years of experience applying information technology and decision science expertise to preserve and grow stakeholder value, in companies ranging from mid-cap to Fortune 500 entities. He has maximized return on more than $25B of transaction value by advising clients on 100+ deals across multiple industries, types, sizes, and geographies. Key areas of expertise include process optimization, enterprise technology deployment, IT and data governance, advanced analytics, agile development methodologies, and M&A advisory services. He will be based in the firm’s Denver office.
