Capstone Partners has advised IKEX incorporated (IKEX), a distributor of seed, chemicals, erosion control supplies, and geotextiles nationwide, on their sale to Leggett & Platt. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of Greensboro, NC IKEX is considered a dominant distributor and are used in both the green industry and construction industry. The acquisition significantly enhances Leggett’s presence in the converting and/or distribution of geotextiles, erosion control products and silt fencing for the geotextile, landscape, and agricultural markets
