Adrian Urgena, a Director with Capstone’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) team, has more than 20 years of experience applying information technology and decision science expertise in business leadership roles spanning operations, IT, sales, customer service, and client account management. This experience includes significant tenure with companies of all sizes, from start-up through midsize and Fortune 500. In these roles, Adrian has demonstrated expertise in process optimization, enterprise technology deployment, IT and data governance, advanced analytics, agile development methodologies, and M&A.
Adrian has extensive experience with the operational and IT aspects of the M&A lifecycle from diligence through to post-close integration and separation. He served as IT subject matter expert on a $1.1B divestiture where he advised the CEO on TSA scope, pricing and operationalization, Day-1 readiness, and post-close execution. Adrian has maximized return on more than $25B of transaction value by advising clients on 100+ deals across multiple industries, types, sizes, and geographies.
Adrian’s work in IT and advanced analytics includes the successful development and deployment of an enterprise platform integrating disparate customer and product usage data from 20+ acquisitions into Business Intelligence (BI) systems that drive revenue optimization and customer delight in a $1.3B global company. He also led the development and implementation of predictive and prescriptive analytics integrated with transactional systems for case management, which enhanced operational performance and competitive advantage for a $280M human services firm.
