Justin O’Malley

Justin is a Director in Capstone Partners’ Financial Advisory Services practice with more than 14 years of experience in financial restructuring and special situations investment banking. He has advised middle-market, large cap, public and private companies and their stakeholders in more than 20 transactions including in and out-of-court restructurings, distressed buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, exit financings and capital raises.  His experience spans a broad range of industries including energy, aerospace, specialty finance, media, maritime, and manufacturing and includes secured and unsecured creditor representation.

Prior to joining Capstone, Justin served as a Vice President in Stephens’ Restructuring and Special Situations Group, focused on complex middle-market cases including representing creditors in restructurings in the upstream energy space. He previously served in financial restructuring roles at Blackhill Partners, Alvarez and Marsal, and distressed investing roles at Highland Capital Management and HBK Capital Management.
