Sunny is a Managing Director in Capstone Partners’ Special Situations Investment Banking (SSIB) group with approximately 20 years of experience in financial restructuring and special situations transactions. He has advised middle-market, public, and private companies and their stakeholders in numerous transactions including in and out-of-court restructurings, distressed M&A, and private financings of both debt and equity. His experience spans a broad range of industries including industrials, engineering and construction, energy, aviation, logistics and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Capstone Partners, Sunny was a Managing Director at Imperial Capital in Los Angeles, focused on middle-market special situation transactions. He has also held senior positions at Piper Sandler, Gleacher & Co., and PwC Corporate Finance representing companies, creditors, and other stakeholders in both conventional as well as distressed transactions. Sunny began his career in the M&A group at SAIC, a Fortune 500 technical services company.
