Capstone Partners advised Centre Partners and Housatonic Partners on their sale of Wind River Environmental LLC (WRE), a waste services company based in Hudson, MA, to RFE Investment Partners, a private equity firm based in New Canaan, CT.

The Wind River Environmental group of companies was founded in 1946 when Denny Currier of Middleton, Massachusetts began servicing local homes from his “honey wagon”. Since 1999 the company has merged together some of the best known and most respected names in the industry and now provides brown grease and septic services from Maine to Pennsylvania.
