Founded in 2002, Strategic Operations, Inc. is headquartered in San Diego, CA and provides hyper-realistic tactical training services and products to the military, law enforcement, first responders, and other organizations involved in homeland security. The company pioneered the introduction of “Hollywood” style special effects and simulations into live tactical training including explosions, weapons, realistic props, and foreign language speaking and casualty actors. One of the main innovations of its MedSim operation was the development of the Cut Suit, a human worn surgical simulator that includes realistic (latex) body parts that also simulates bleeding and prepares medical personnel with a realistic environment for surgical activities under duress.
