Capstone Partners has advised EH Wachs, manufactures the finest line of weld prep machine tools, including the LCSF Split Frames, SDSF Split Frames and HDSF Split Frames, the Guillotine® Pipe Saws and our famous Trav-L-Cutter®, on their sale to ITW. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of Lincolnshire, IL EH Wachs has ID mounted machines that includes the SDB and EP end prep machines for beveling and counterboring, and the FF series for flange facing. In addition, they offer a full line of boiler maintenance and high purity specific machine tools. In the acquisition EH Wachs joined other welding related companies in ITW’s Welding Products Group, further strengthening ITW’s position as the industry leader in welding equipment technology.
