Capstone Partners has advised Jarex Distributions, a distributor of geotextiles & erosion control products, seed, and other related green products; and a manufacturer of silt fence, on their sale to Leggett & Platt. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Leggett & Platt is expecting with the acquisition it should increase annual sales to their residential furnishing division. Also the company said the purchases give it a presence in the converting and distribution of geotextiles, and erosion control products and silt fencing for the geotextile, landscape and agricultural markets.
