Capstone Partners has advised Vativ Technologies, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in innovative high-bandwidth, advanced digital signal processing solutions, on their sale to Entropic Communication. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based out of San Diego, Ca Vativ Technologies is a privately held firm that has also developed a digital signal processing (DSP)-based adaptive equalization capability that delivers superior signal recovery. Entropic has hired 17 employees from Vativ, including 15 engineers with the acquisition.
