Capstone Provides Financial Advisory Services to Arajet
Professionals from Capstone Partners’ Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group provided financial advisory and interim management advisory services to Arajet S.A., a start-up low-fare commercial airline based in the Dominican Republic.
Arajet, a portfolio company of Bain Capital, has leased five new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft with another three on the way and a direct order for 20 new Boeing 737 MAX beginning in 2024. Using its value-priced service model to build a strategic connecting hub, Arajet plans to capture a large portion of the Caribbean and Latin American commercial aviation market.
“It was a pleasure working with the Arajet team and being part of the exciting opportunity to create an airline opening new markets and expanding existing markets through establishing a ULCC servicing North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean,” said Frank Hundley, a Managing Director in Capstone’s Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group, who led the engagement.
